Photoshop Editing

Although I spend many hours on a wedding day photographing the event, I spend even more time after the wedding in front of a computer retouching photos.

The following two examples (4 photos - without retouch and retouched) show how important digital darkroom technique is in photography today.

Needless to say, I retouch all the wedding photos in Photoshop to get the best results.

Without retouch, the picture looks flat and unattractive.

Retouched by using mask to brighten up some areas and correct the colours.  The coral reefs look much sharper now.

Without retouch, the colours look flat.

Retouched by adjusting the colours to the right level.  Now the water is in gorgeous blue colour.
